Blue Cloud décor is a frit glass, available on many Besa pendants and wall sconces. A thin layer of white glass inside makes the final glass product opaque.
The glassblower creates it by rolling his glob of molten glass in small bits of colored glass, called frit. The extremely hot glass melts the frit, creating irregular patterns and multi-colored surfaces. The pattern is never the same twice, becoming even more varied as the glass is blown into shape.
